begin today

Quiet your mind. Reclaim your presence. Sustain your impact.

You’re here to serve a mission that’s meaningful—something that asks much of you because it matters deeply. Work that has the potential to move the needle in your industry, your community, maybe even the world.

But over time, the pace has become harder to sustain.
The urgency never quite lets up. Even when you carve out rest, your mind often stays in motion. And while your commitment hasn’t wavered, your inner capacity to hold it all may be quietly wearing thin.

Let this be your turning point

Calm in the Storm is a personalized 4-week journey for high-impact leaders who want to restore clarity, presence, and grounded energy—without stepping away from their ambition or their mission.

This isn’t about slowing down for the sake of it.
It’s about finding a rhythm that sustains you.
So your vision can breathe again.
So you can, too.

Like most leaders, I find there is never enough time in the day and I am pulled in many directions. Being grounded and reflective are essential skills to being an effective leader. As a continuous learner I participated in mindfulness training with Rebecca. The program was expertly facilitated. I would definitely recommend this experience.

Lead from the body, not just the brain – Reconnect to the innate intelligence of your nervous system and access clarity and spaciousness by rooted into your body

See through mental clutter – Recognize and unhook from thought patterns and beliefs that distort your focus and fuel self-pressure

Lead with a wise heart – Cultivate compassion, kindness, equanimity and joy as leadership strengths, not soft skills

Rebecca has helped me tremendously. With a focus on conscious leadership, I am a better leader, a better father, a better husband, and a better person. I’ve learned to slow down, to stop blaming, and have leaned into self-compassion. I’m learning to quiet that noise inside my head that never used to stop. My self awareness has improved greatly, and I feel physically and mentally better than I have in a long time.

Through Rebecca’s guidance, I’ve gained tools and practices that have opened doors to deeper awareness, confidence, and a sense of empowerment I didn’t know was possible. Professionally, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my focus, decision-making, and ability to navigate challenges with clarity and calm. I’m now well-equipped to continue integrating the mindfulness concepts into my life and leadership, and excited about how this experience will support my future growth.”

Mindfulness as a growth catalyst

Research by Leadership Circle suggests 70-80% of leaders are operating predominantly from reactive states. Reactive Leadership is defined by past conditioning which limits agility and responsiveness to changing circumstances. This style of leadership is not conducive to thriving in our changing world.

Mindfulness serves as a powerful amplifier for leadership development through the cultivation of awareness, presence and compassion. Together, these inner resources equip a leader to evolve their approach to better meet the growing complexity of our world. By promoting stillness and clarity, mindfulness practices create the conditions from which Creative Leadership can emerge and grow.

Meet Rebecca

Rebecca Wilson is an award-winning, ICF certified executive coach, mindfulness teacher, and experienced senior leader.

Rebecca spent much of her life identifying as a high achiever (who desperately wanted to do good in the world). At some point along the path of striving for more outward impact, she realized she’d lost connection with herself. Her path of self-discovery led her to experience the profound effects of mindfulness.

Along this journey, Rebecca continued to thrive professionally, moving into senior leadership positions in the management consulting and not-for-profit sectors. All the while, she was diving deep into wisdom traditions and personal development, eventually training as a certified coach, meditation and yoga teacher. As she observed changes within herself and her clients, she began witnessing the transformative impact of inner work on leadership effectiveness.

Rebecca founded Arborvida to help high achieving, purpose-driven leaders deepen their presence and elevate their impact. She’s married her unique experience, qualifications and passion to create a truly transformative offering.

 Frequently Asked Questions

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing. The practice of mindfulness is an ancient technique that can be traced back to various traditions including Hinduism and Buddhism. In our busy, modern times, there are many secular applications of mindfulness which can be practiced by anyone, in any setting, to great benefit.

Research has shown that mindfulness practices are effective in raising self-awareness, eliciting a relaxation response, improving energy levels and reducing pain, among other benefits.

Mindfulness practices include meditation, as well as mindful movement and anything else that involves consciously bringing attention to the present moment. This 6 week program will introduce many seated meditative practices, while also exploring other pathways into mindful presence, including gentle movement.

Will this program benefit me if I already meditate?

This is an introductory program that is appropriate for individuals who do not have an existing, regular meditation practice. If you have some meditation experience but have never taken structured training, this program will allow you to explore different approaches and benefit from tailored guidance that can support you in re-invigorating your practice and bringing it into your leadership.

How can mindfulness improve my leadership?

There are many facets of leadership development. Acquiring new skills and tools can be helpful and necessary, but transformational leadership potential is unleashed only when a leader grows as a human.

The demonstrated impacts of mindfulness on self-awareness and reductions in reactivity point to a big opportunity in the leadership development space - when research by Leadership Circle suggests 70-80% are operating predominantly from Reactive States. Because with greater awareness comes choice. And with choice, we can shift out of Reactivity.
